Listen to Your Own Song

Helga’s latest poetry collection from Blue Light Press.

Listen to Your Own Song was inspired by fortune-telling nursery rhymes, “Monday’s child is fair of face” and ending with “Sunday’s child is happy and gay.” It has seven sections of ten poems each that explore the rhymes in personal experiences and natural landscapes. This collection is a way to find your own journey into imagination.

Praise for Helga Kidder’s Poetry

“Your work was selected from thousands of poems submitted from across the U.S. and around the world. We were looking for poetry that was absolutely wonderful, that did what great poetry is supposed to do: refresh the heart, the mind, and the spirit.”

– Atlanta Review

“It has been a particular honor to have your work appear inĀ Quiet Diamonds. Thank you for being a part of the Orchard Street family. Work like yours is the reason for our already strong – and growing – reputation as a home for excellence in poetry.”
